Description
Blood Ammonia Assay Kit is an assay kit for the detection and quantification of Blood Ammonia concentrations in serum and plasma using a spectrophotometer. Blood proteins can be precipitated with protein precipitator, destroying all enzyme activity and therefore preventing the formation of free ammonia in vitro. Most interfering color substances are removed at the same time. An indigo color is formed in the non-protein filtrate by Berthelot reaction, and the color depth is proportional to the content of blood ammonia. Blood ammonia content can be determined by comparing with the provided standard solution.
