Description
Cysteine (Cys) Assay Kit can be used to detect Cysteine (Cys) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and cell culture supernatants using a microplate reader. Phosphotungstic acid can be reduced by Cys, forming tungsten blue, which has an absorption peak at 600 nm. Cys content can be calculated by measuring the absorbance at 600 nm.
