| Note | THIS PRODUCT IS FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY. NOT FOR USE IN DIAGNOSTIC OR THERAPEUTIC PROCEDURES. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. The stability of the kit is determined by the rate of activity loss. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage conditions. To minimize performance fluctuations, operation procedures and lab conditions should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same user throughout. |
Descripción
GPR83 is a G protein-coupled receptor that is widely expressed in various tissues, including the brain, immune cells, and endocrine tissues. The receptor is believed to play a role in regulating immune function, neuronal activity, and hormone secretion. GPR83 is activated by endogenous peptides, although the specific ligand(s) for GPR83 remain to be fully characterized. The receptor has been implicated in the regulation of metabolic processes, immune responses, and stress-related behaviors. In the immune system, GPR83 is thought to influence the differentiation and activity of T cells, particularly in the regulation of inflammation. In the brain, GPR83 may modulate mood and behavioral responses to stress. Dysregulation of GPR83 signaling has been associated with conditions such as autoimmune diseases, metabolic disorders, and mood disorders. As such, GPR83 is being investigated as a potential therapeutic target for treatments aimed at immune modulation, stress response, and psychiatric conditions.
