Description
Sucrase Assay Kit is an assay kit designed for the detection and quantification of Sucrase activity in animal tissue using a microplate reader. Sucrase catalyzes the hydrolysis of sucrose to glucose, which produces hydrogen peroxide under the action of glucose oxidase. Hydrogen peroxide reacts with a chromogenic agent to produce red-colored reaction product, which has a strong absorption peak at 505 nm. The absorbance is proportional to glucose concentration, therefore, the activity of sucrase can be calculated by measuring the OD value at 505 nm.
