Description
Uric Acid (UA) Assay Kit is an assay kit for the detection and quantification of Uric Acid (UA) concentrations in serum, plasma, animal tissue homogenates and urine using a fluorescence microplate reader. Uricase catalyzes the decomposition of uric acid into allantoin, CO2 and H2O2. Under the action of peroxidase, H2O2 oxidizes the non-fluorescent probe into a fluorescent substance. By measuring the fluorescence, the corresponding uric acid concentration can be calculated.
