Background
CARD9 is a key protein in the immune response, particularly in the signaling pathways of innate immunity. It is involved in activating the NF-κB signaling pathway, which plays a crucial role in inflammation and immune cell activation. CARD9 acts as an adaptor protein that connects pattern recognition receptors, such as C-type lectin receptors (CLRs), to downstream signaling pathways.
