Background

Fibroblast growth factor receptor substrate 2 (FRS2) is an intracellular adaptor protein that plays a pivotal role in the signaling pathways of fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFRs). Upon FGFR activation, FRS2 becomes tyrosine-phosphorylated and acts as a docking platform for various signaling molecules.
