LRRC66 is a member of the LRRC family involved in cellular signaling and immune regulation it is expressed in a variety of tissues including immune and epithelial cells studies suggest LRRC66 plays a role in modulating inflammatory responses and immune cell activation by interacting with cytokines and signaling receptors bioinformatics analyses indicate potential involvement in pathways regulating immune homeostasis and responses to cellular stress its expression is upregulated during inflammatory conditions suggesting a role in tissue repair and immune surveillance although experimental studies remain sparse its potential involvement in chronic inflammatory diseases and cancer is being explored further research is needed to clarify its molecular mechanisms and evaluate its potential as a therapeutic target in inflammatory and immune-mediated diseases
